A Heartfelt Wright’s Mill Farm Wedding

During their Wright’s Mill Farm wedding, Michelle and Cory celebrated their love by taking full advantage of everything this rustic wedding venue has to offer. Here’s a summary of their wedding story.

Norwich Engagement Session

We kicked things off for Michelle and Cory with a Norwich engagement session. Specifically, we explored Mohegan Park.

Both Connecticut natives, Michelle and Cory were definitely into the idea of being outside for their session.

The park and garden beauty helped them get some great save-the-date inspo for their wedding at Wright’s Mill Farm.

This Wright’s Mill Farm Wedding Story

When we first spoke about their day, Michelle told me that she and Cory knew that they knew with just one visit that they wanted to have a wedding at Wright’s Mill Farm. Here’s how their day went:

Getting Ready

Michelle and her bridesmaids did hair and makeup offsite and then headed to the Wright’s Mill getting ready suite for final touches.

Shortly thereafter, Michelle did a first look with her ladies. A special moment for sure.

Bridesmaid Portraits

Once the bride’s side of the wedding party was dressed, we went out back on the patio and then into the ceremony space for some bridesmaid portraits.

And of course, once it was time to party, I was able to bring out the cinematic lighting on the dancefloor during their reception.

Venue Info

Wright’s Mill Farm is a rustic wedding venue located in Canterbury, CT.

The barn, which is where receptions are held as well as indoor ceremonies, can accommodate about 200 guests. There’s also an outdoor ceremony spot in a wooded area as well as a house for rent for getting ready purposes.

Fees start at about $750 for your ceremony and then $5500 for your reception. Amenities such as golf cart access, fire pit, and games cost extra. The venue even has a wedding DJ package offer.
