CONNECTICUT WEDDING PHOTOGRAPHY PACKAGES

The Process

Wedding photography packages start at 4000 for six hours of coverage…

Before we even get to the point of discussing wedding photography pricing, I should make you comfortable with what I’m all about. And it’s this: your story. Therefore, I’m committed to using my photography to help tell it the right way.

I call this my artistically-engineered photography experience and it begins from the moment that we first touch base and continues all the way until I deliver your prints to you.

So, here’s the rundown on my approach:

1. We’ll Meet

After we make initial contact, I’ll invite you to meet for a complimentary, no-obligation consultation. This is just a call (phone or video), with zero strings attached. I’ll ask you about the high-level details of your wedding, your photography needs and goals, and the timeline and location of your special day.

What’s more, it’s going to be a conversation; I’m genuinely interested in getting to know you two. Please feel free to ask anything! Using Meet, FaceTime, or Skype to meet virtually is always an option, too.

2. We’ll Take Pictures

This is the fun part! On your wedding day, I utilize a mixed photography approach. To explain, I capture candid moments in a documentary manner as well as efficiently guide you through the portrait portions.

I’ll use what I’ve learned about you two during our conversations and your wedding planning. You’re my clients and I’m here for you. Tell me your ideas along the way and we’ll see if we can try them out.

3. You’ll Enjoy Your Artwork

Definitely the cherry on top, this is the last stage of my artistically-engineered photography experience. During this stage, I’ll present you with a digital gallery of your photos.

Accordingly, I’ll help you keep track of the ones you love and would like to have in your album and on your walls. Then, I’ll place your order with my professional lab partner and deliver your prints a short time after.

“You just cannot put a price tag on the memories Terrence so expertly captured for us.”

Wedding Photography Pricing and Packages

Packages start from 4000…

After we’ve talked and decided that we’re a great fit for each other, we’ll get into the logistics of booking. Upon contract signing, a nonrefundable initial payment of 50% of the total package fee is due to reserve your date and retain my services.

Once this is handled, I’ll jump right in and become more than just a wedding vendor to you, but a friend right from the beginning.

Starting at 4000 and with prints included in every package (whether standard or fully custom), my wedding photography pricing offers great value for your money.

Engagement Sessions Are Included!

As I developed over time as a wedding photographer, I realized the importance of engagement sessions to telling couples’ stories. This is why now, all of my wedding photography packages include a complimentary engagement session.

You should consider your session a necessity! We’ll get to practice with the camera while also getting to know each other. Then, after your session, you’ll receive an awesome digital image gallery.

The best part is that on your wedding day, you’ll already be used to how I work and already know your preferences.

“Terrence was so wonderful! He captured our engagement perfectly! He arrived early, took a plethora of quality photos, and worked with my fiancé for weeks to plan our proposal.”

Artwork & Prints

Helping you tell your story for years to come

Artwork is the final piece of the experience that I create for my couples. Every story deserves better than being stored on a hard drive or getting lost in the cloud.

This is why I’ve put in the time to research photographic artwork options, in order to provide you with physical products that I know you’ll love.

Albums

The ultimate, perfect for wedding newlyweds . These will be designed for you after asking a few questions. Cover options include linen, leather, image inlays including acrylic, wood, and metal.

Albums range from 1095 for an 8×12 linen or leather cameo cover with 20 pages.

Canvas

These make a 3D statement. Canvas wrap pieces stand out from the wall 1.5 inches. As a result, your images possess a three-dimensional look, making them a pleasure to view from all angles. Add to that the texture and you have an eye-catching piece for a lifetime.

Canvas wraps range from 365 for an 8×12.

Metal

Sleek and eye-opening. The metal itself receives a base coat of white paint before your photo is applied. As a result, a beautiful representation of your photo will last for years to come. Smaller sizes have a stand while larger ones have a wall hanger.

Metal artwork ranges from 195 for an 8×12.

Mounted Paper

Classic, versatile, and timeless, paper prints are the cornerstone of photographic artwork. These consist of a rich, matte print mounted on a sturdy medium. In addition to their boldness, these can be displayed with or without a frame.

Mounted paper prints range from 165 for two 8×12.

Digital Images

When not otherwise included with your booking (my wedding photography pricing includes them), digital images are available for à la carte purchase. Likewise, custom USB drives are also available.

Included standard with wedding bookings.

The digital photos are amazing but Terrence’s work just shines in print form…”

FAQs About Wedding Photography Packages in Connecticut

I want you to be comfortable, so feel free to ask me anything when you reach out. In the meantime, here are some of the more common questions that I’m asked about my wedding photography pricing, my business, etc.:

Is anything included in your wedding photography pricing besides the packages themselves?

When you book me for your wedding, you’ll obviously have a great experience consisting of photography and ending with artwork. But, there’s much more to it than that. Put another way, I’ll be trying to be a friend, an honorary member of your wedding party.

Providing advice, guides, and finding out about your most important details are just a few of the tasks I’ll take on. Your other vendors will be on my radar, too, especially your planner (if you have one) and venue.

Within a few weeks of your big day, I’ll find a convenient time for us to get together on Meet or the phone to go through any last-second changes. By the way, I’m a resource to you the entire time. You can reach out any point with questions or concerns!

Our venue requires that our vendors have insurance. Do you?

You bet. Terrence Irving Photography, LLC is fully registered, legal, and insured.

Where can we read reviews of your work and experience?

Past clients have written me great reviews. You can check me out on Google, Zola, WeddingWire, and Facebook to see them.

Do you only offer services in Connecticut?

Not at all! Though I live here in Connecticut, I’m more than happy to travel elsewhere to capture your day. So far, I’ve gone as far as far as Rhode Island, New Jersey, and upstate New York. Please note, however, that a fee may be assessed, depending on the location of your wedding or session.

Have you ever photographed a wedding at my venue before?

Photographing weddings since 2019, chances are your venue is new to me. No problem! So as to be efficient, I’ll even contact your venue’s management beforehand, in some cases, to learn what I can or even visit.

Regardless, and especially if your wedding will be taking place at a private location, I’ll arrive early enough to be adequately prepared.

How soon will we receive our photos and how many will we get?

After a typical wedding day, I usually deliver about 40 images per hour of coverage (please note that that’s not a guarantee, it’s just a ballpark average).

Depending on my workload at the time, I usually am able to finish editing a wedding within 10 weeks and a portrait session within three to four.

Will we receive every photo, unedited photos, etc.?

As a full-service wedding photographer, part of my process includes choosing only the best photos from your day and editing each and every one of those selections. Therefore, your finished gallery will be a curated selection of the images I capture, telling your story in the best way possible.

One of the things that I’ll do when helping you solidify your timeline is ask you for a list of must-have photos. While wedding days are quite unpredictable, planning methods like this will help to ensure that I’m working hard to meet your expectations.

How do we receive our physical artwork?

After choosing your prints, I’ll place an order with my print lab for your artwork. Depending on the size of your order, it usually takes no more than a few weeks for the prints to arrive to me, get inspected, and then shipped off to you.

Any digital images you purchase (as well as the ones included in your wedding package) will securely uploaded to my website and I will email you a link to your private gallery.

Given their importance, I always recommend that clients keep their artwork out of direct sunlight and back up their digital images in multiple locations.

Who is your second photographer?

As an independent wedding photographer, I own and operate my studio by myself. This means that my second photographer varies. I work with other professionals in the industry on a contractor basis, hiring them on a per-wedding basis.

Similarly to the high standards I have for my own work, my second photographer colleagues are esteemed and represent my brand well. If your wedding package includes a second photographer, I still edit and deliver all of your artwork.

Should we have a Pinterest board before booking you?

There’s no need! When you book a wedding photographer, trust is a huge part of the equation. So before you sign a contract and make a retainer payment, be sure that the photographer’s style and approach work for you. I have a distinct style just like anyone else.

While I absolutely welcome your preferences and ideas, there’s no need for mood boards or the like. Just tell me vision and I’ll work to combine it with mine!

We’re interested in learning more. How do we go about that?

Just head over to my Contact page and fill out the short form to send me an email. I’ll get back to you as soon as I can, usually within 24 hours.

Are you thinking I should be your wedding photographer?
