The Artistically-Engineered Goods

A bride in a white wedding dress poses at the rear of the building during her Lord Thompson Manor wedding.

Dear Future Wedding Photography Client,

Congrats, you’re engaged! You two happily agree on at least one thing so far: you want awesome wedding photography. Timeless, unforgettable photos. Nothing bland or stale. (After all, you’re shopping for art, not oyster crackers.)

But there’s another piece: you don’t want to have to think about it too much. On your wedding day, you two want to focus on each other and be in the moment. (Don’t forget to say “hi” to Granny, though; she came all that way to see you.)

Sound about accurate? If so, then my artistically-engineered photography experience is what you’re looking for. The philosophy here is to capture the feelings (emotion) of your wedding day while also working with intuition (technical).

In closing, I got you. That’s what makes artistically-engineered wedding photography so darn nice. And one more thing, do remember that…

Your love is art.

Getting Started

Your artistically-engineered photography experience begins from the moment that we first touch base. Here’s what you can expect once you begin exploring wedding photography pricing:

Quote and Booking

At the end of our first meeting, receiving a quote right away might interest you (most couples feel this way).

I’ll tailor it to your interests and include multiple wedding photography pricing options. You’ll receive a secure link via email.

Your quote will be good for two weeks, during which a “soft hold” will be placed on your wedding date (I’ll still talk to other inquiring couples, but they’ll be in line behind you).

After Your Wedding Day

You’ll probably be excited to see something right after your wedding. This is why I do my best to deliver a sneak peek gallery, usually within a few days.

We’ll schedule an artwork design and selection meeting to go over your print decisions together.

Delivery of your complete online digital image gallery and wedding album proof will occur within 10 weeks.

Conveniently, you’ll be set up to view proofs, select prints, and buy artwork within your gallery, too.

After considering wedding photography pricing, two grooms enjoy some beer and laugh while wearing dark suits which are matching and laughing.

The Power of Your Engagement Session

With experience has come this important realization: engagement sessions are key to telling couples’ stories.

In keeping with the artistically-engineered theme, this is why all of my wedding photography packages include a complimentary engagement session.

You should consider your session a necessity! We’ll get to practice with the camera while also getting to know each other. Then, after your session, you’ll receive an awesome digital image gallery.

The best part is that on your wedding day, we’ll have built rapport. You’ll already be used to how I work and already know your preferences.

The digital photos are amazing but Terrence’s work just shines in print form…he is simply one of the top photographers in CT and the secret is getting out!

The Prints

You shouldn’t need a screen to enjoy your wedding photos! This is why prints are included in every package. They make great gifts, too.

Album

The ultimate, perfect for wedding newlyweds, designed with you. Every package comes with one and it can be upgraded. Extras make great gifts for parents or loved ones.

A la carte albums range from $1000 for an 8×8 Novella with linen, a debossed title, and 10 spreads (20 pages).

Canvas

These make a 3D statement. Canvas wrap pieces stand out from the wall 1.5 inches. As a result, your images possess a three-dimensional look, making them a pleasure to view from all angles. Add to that the texture and you have an eye-catching piece for a lifetime.

Canvas wraps range from $365 for an 8×12.

Metal

Sleek and eye-opening. The metal itself receives a base coat of white paint before your photo is applied. As a result, a beautiful representation of your photo will last for years to come. Smaller sizes have a stand while larger ones have a wall hanger.

Metal artwork ranges from $195 for an 8×12.

Mounted Paper

Classic, versatile, and timeless, paper prints are the cornerstone of photographic artwork. These consist of a rich, matte print mounted on a sturdy medium. In addition to their boldness, these can be displayed with or without a frame.

Mounted paper prints range from $165 for two 8×12.

Curated Video Content Creation

Your wedding journey is a story worth reliving. My curated video content creation service can help bring it to life even more!

Available for both your engagement session and wedding day, my curated video content creation involves include capturing fun video clips of those fleeting, heartfelt moments. These will then be sprinkled amongst the photos in your digital image gallery.

For the wedding day version, you’ll also receive a short highlight film in your gallery. This is another fun yet cinematic way to recap your wedding day.

Please note: This curated video content creation service is not meant to replace full wedding videography! Rather, it’ll serve as an efficient and enjoyable complement to your wedding photos.

Add-on pricing for the Aesthetic package starts at $250.

Terrence Irving (he/him) is a wedding photographer

Yes, it could be great: the art of your wedding day can come to you without even having to think about it. But to make that happen, you have to book a capable, professional photographer. Here I am though!

With me as your wedding photographer, you’ll be heard from the start. You’ll get help with your timeline and photography plans. In front of the camera, you’ll be treated like a human, not a model or robot. I photograph weddings all over the place, from barns to Newport docks.

It doesn’t matter where you’re getting married; I’ll help you feel like a million bucks while you do it.

Questions About Wedding Photography Packages in Connecticut

You should feel comfortable before booking your wedding photographer. Here are some of the more common questions my wedding photography pricing, business values, etc.:

When you book me for your wedding, you’ll obviously have a great experience consisting of photography and ending with artwork. But, there’s much more to it than that. Put another way, I’ll be trying to be an advocate for you until the job is done. This is all part of what I call my artistically-engineered wedding photography experience.

Providing advice, guides, and finding out about your most important details are just a few of the tasks I’ll take on. Your other vendors will be on my radar, too, especially your planner (if you have one) and venue.

You bet. Terrence Irving Photography, LLC is fully registered, legal, and insured.

Past clients have written me great reviews. You can check me out on Google and Zola.

Not at all! Though I live here in Connecticut, I’m more than happy to travel elsewhere to capture your day. So far, I’ve gone as far as far as Rhode Island, New Jersey, and upstate New York.

Please note, however, that a fee may be assessed, depending on the location of your wedding or session. Generally, the pricing you’re seeing on this page is for Connecticut wedding photography packages; travel feels easily make them universal though.

Maybe! Either way, it’s no problem at all. Photographing weddings since 2019, I’ve figured out how to deal with new locations efficiently.

Regardless, and especially if your wedding will be taking place at a private location, I’ll arrive early enough to be adequately prepared.

After a typical wedding day, I usually deliver about 40 images per hour of coverage (please note that that’s not a guarantee, it’s just a ballpark average). Usually, I deliver a wedding within eight weeks and an engagement session within three.

As a full-service wedding photographer, part of my process includes choosing only the best photos from your day and editing each and every one of those selections.

Therefore, your finished gallery will be a curated selection of the images I capture, telling your story in the best way possible. To me, giving you only the best of the best is the artistically-engineered way, the only way.

After choosing your prints, I’ll place an order with my print lab for your artwork. Depending on the size of your order, it usually takes no more than a few weeks for the prints to arrive to me, get inspected, and then shipped off to you.

As an independent wedding photographer, I own and operate my studio by myself. This means that my second photographer varies. I work with other professionals in the industry on a contractor basis, hiring them on a per-wedding basis.

Similarly to the high standards I have for my own work, my second photographer colleagues are esteemed and represent my brand well. If your wedding package includes a second photographer, I still edit and deliver all of your artwork.

There’s no need, but feel free! When you book a wedding photographer, trust is a huge part of the equation. So before you sign a contract and make a retainer payment, be sure that the photographer’s style and approach work for you. I have a distinct style just like anyone else.

I absolutely welcome your preferences and ideas, so feel free to share away. But, there’s no hard requirement for mood boards or the like. Just tell me your vision, I’ll work to combine it with mine, and we’ll work together to create something you’ll love!

Just head over to my Contact page and fill out the short form to send me an email. I’ll get back to you as soon as I can, usually within 24 hours.
