Beer and Wine Wedding Venues in CT

Sometimes, all you need is a nice drink. Fortunately for engaged couples in CT, our state has plenty of breweries and wineries which host weddings. Here’s a list of nautical-themed beer and wine wedding venues in Connecticut.

1. Stony Creek Brewery (Branford)

The home of the Cranky’s and maker of really great craft beer, Stony Creek Brewery is also a wedding venue which can host up to 150 people. One former groom says in his review, “From start to finish (and after), I couldn’t have asked for more helpful people or a cooler space in which to get married…Honestly, I could go on and on, but the thing that I’ll take away from the experience is just how well Stony Creek…took care of us that day, and we’re so grateful for it.”

8. Kingdom of the Hawk (North Stonington)

Another one of the new places to get married in Connecticut, slated to open in the spring of 2023, is North Stonington’s Kingdom of the Hawk. The owners of Saltwater Farm Vineyard will be opening this venue. This is probably the most modern version of a barn wedding venue that anyone has ever seen here in the state: the building seems to be mostly metal and glass.

Sitting high up, it appears that the space is going to give couples great views and plenty of outdoor areas for gatherings and photos. As far as wedding venues in Connecticut go, this is another example of new meets old. Co-owner Michael Connery says, “I had a clear notion of what I wanted, in terms of a barn sensibility. That’s what drove it. But the key was to make it very contemporary.”
